The last World Cup stop took place last weekend in Windham, NY (USA).

For Oakley athletes Nino Schurter from Switzerland (seen with Holbrook in the picture) and Gee Atherton from Great Britain, it turned out to be a great success. Schurter finished 2nd in the Cross Country race and was therefore able to win the overall title, Atherton took home the World Cup victory as well as the Overall title.

The world's biggest MTB fair is going to take place this week from September 1-4, 2010 in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

For the first time at Eurobike, Oakley will show its “Rolling O Lab”, a test laboratory where dealers, media and consumers alike can have a look at the quality of Oakley`s products. While the first days are mainly for retailers, on Saturday everyone is welcome to join and get inspired by the new products for 2011. Moreover, a couple of Oakley`s Pro Riders such as Timo Pritzel (as seen in the picture) will be attending the fair. Don`t miss out – visit Oakley at Eurobike (Open Air Grounds West A6/1).

Sprinter Mark Cavendish's debut in the Vuelta a España got off to the perfect start after his team's victory

in the opening team trial netted the Briton the overall lead. Mark Cavendish (Oakley, seen wearing OCP Jawbone in the picture) was first of his team to cross the finish line and therefore earned the right to wear the race-leader's red jersey. Cavendish attributed his lead to the whole team: “I get to stand on the podium quite a lot, but that's because of eight other guys' hard work.” Even though Cavendish finished second in the second stage, he was able to keep to overall lead.

Oakley rider Ben Spies (seen wearing Probation in the picture) achieved his best MotoGP result to date

with a second place finish at the Indianapolis Grand Prix in what has already been a fantastic debut season. Spies started from pole for the first time in his MotoGP career and his race result capped off a great weekend. Completing the podium was Oakley athlete and Championship leader Jorge Lorenzo, who started from second on the grid and finished just over three seconds off Spies.

Oakley's Matt Goss (wearing Radar Path White Chrome in the picture) won the 2010 edition of the prestigious classic GP Ouest France – Plouay

in Brittany with a perfectly timed sprint. The 23 year old Australian beat American Tyler Farrar and Yoann Offredo of France, confirming his ever-improving ability in testing one-day races. Goss had been ill a few days before the race but saved his effort for the final sprint and took full advantage of some strong work from his team mates. They helped close the gap on a strong last-lap breakaway and two late solo attacks.

Alberto Hevia (Oakley) driving his Skoda Fabia Super 2000 repeated his victory of last year at the Rallye de Ferrol

celebrated last weekend. After this victory Alberto increases his advantage at the front of the Spanish championship. It was not easy at all for Hevia because the second pilot at the final ranking, Pedro del Burgo, was fighting very hard until the very end. Finally, Alberto won with only 30 seconds advantage over del Burgo.

Snow sports history was written today with the crowning of the first ever Snowboard Slopestyle Junior World Champion.

Oakley’s Ståle Sandbech (17) of Norway astounded judges with his level of riding, indicating the future of snowboarding is very strong indeed. The course consisted of a down rail to 25ft (7.6m) flat box or rail followed by three kickers ranging in size from 15ft (4.6m) to 70ft (21.3m), ending in a multi-feature of an up box with gap off, snow rainbow and tank bonk. Sandbech was saving his best till last and took out the World Championship with a decisive second run.

At the Racer Bikes Cup in Muttenz, Switzerland, Florian Vogel (Oakley) won the well attended final round.

The course was fast and the race extremely tactical. Eight riders, including pilots Florian Vogel, Nino Schurter and Julien Absalon (all Oakley, seen wearing OCP Radar) stayed together until two laps to go. After Schurter’s crash, Ralph Näf and Vogel escaped. With half a lap to go, Vogel gained a few seconds on Näf, which was enough to win his second race within a month.

Jorge Lorenzo widened the gap between himself and his most worthy rivals to a 77 point Championship lead

following his exciting win in the Czech Republic this past weekend. The Oakley athlete not only brought home his 7th victory of the season but also the 50th Grand Prix overall victory for Spain. Lorenzo was delighted with win number seven and thanked his team. (Source: motogp.com)

The New Zealand Open is the second 5-Star event for the men on the 2010/11 Swatch TTR World Tour season

and Norwegian rider Gjermund Braaten (Oakley) was able to maintain his World No. 1 position in the TTR Rankings with a second place finish in the slopestyle finals. As a premiere the new Snowboard Live Scoring (SLS) judging system was used for the slopestyle finals as well as for the halfpipe semi-finals and finals.
